Finalmente su YouTube è stato aggiunto il video dell’intervista che Enya ha rilasciato all’emittente EuroNews. L’intervista non aggiunge nulla di nuovo a quanto già sappiamo in merito.
A questo video ne aggiungo altri tre in cui Enya e Roma Ryan parlano di alcune canzoni all’interno dell’album: Journey of the Angels, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel e Last Time by Moonlight. Si tratta dei video che avete già visto al momento della pubblicazione dell’album e che sono stati aggiunti pochi giorni fa su YouTube. Affrettatevi a vederli perché potrebbero essere rimossi!
L’intervista è apparsa sul magazine giapponese AERA English News Magazine pochi giorni fa ed esattamente il 23 febbraio. Di questa intervista è presente sia il video che la sua trascrizione sul sito AERA-net.jp; ad accompagnare il tutto c’è una nuova foto che non si sa se scattata recentemente o meno. ENYA: I find that being successful doesn't make it any easier to write a melody, you know, that you have written so many albums doesn't make it easy to go in. So I have to forget the success and the listeners what they are expecting. I have to leave all that aspect of the music outside of the studio, and to just really bring in where I will concentrate on the work. That is what is really important. That, there is no distractions, nothing to interfere with looking for one song at a time. It's important to keep focus on it. Things like that where people say, "but you have written so many songs, " It doesn't mean that I will write more songs, you have to really, sometimes for me, it's like a month and I say it to Nicky, "Oh my God, do I write another song?", and "Yes, it's gonna take longer but you will write another song." So confident wise, you do get writer's block. You know, that would happen. So it's again to me, it's very exciting moment, when I write the songs. So I get very excited. I think, yes, song, I wrote it. So it always feels new to me. It always feels like it is a new melody, but it holds a certain amount of fascination to myself as well. I might keep thinking what I am gonna do, and next day, I've written. It's very difficult to analyze writing other songs. Quite difficult.
Q: You know the excitement, but you know also the writer's block.
ENYA: Yes, maybe the last song I wrote that I ever write... But I get encouragement. I said from Nicky and from Roma. It takes as long as you want. It's always like write whatever I want. It has to be natural progression as well for me that whatever that the strongest emotional feeling that I want to get across to the listeners, is what I am trying to capture in the song. So you might play a song you think but it's not saying anything, you know, it doesn't move me in any way, so in that regard, I put a lot of importance on the work that it's not enough to just write melody, it has to have a depth to it. Something that is important to me that I can relate to, when I sing it, that I feel it very emotionally is very important to me.

Il sito della Warner Music Japan(pagina tradotta in italiano con Google Translate) rende noto che oggi sarà disponibile sull’emittente radiofonica giapponese Tokio FM (dalle 15:00 alle 15:55 orario locale) una lunga intervista ad Enya rilasciata durante il tour promozionale del novembre scorso.

Eccovi finalmente l’intervista presso l’emittente televisiva australiana Sunrise Channel 7 (dell’08/11/2008). Come ben sapete il video di questa intervista era disponibile solo sul sito dell’emittente televisiva australiana e solo una quindicina di giorni fa è stato aggiunto su YouTube(scusate il ritardo). La qualità non è ottima.
Una nuova intervista ad Enya (del 10 gennaio) è presente sul sito NPR Music. Nell’intervista Enya parla di come il titolo And Winter Came… esplori i temi della stagione ed il passare del tempo:
"It has to do with that reflective time of year," Enya says of the title. "The spring, summer, is quite a hectic time for people in their lives, but then it comes to autumn, and to winter, and you can't but help think back to the year that was, and then hopefully looking forward to the year that is approaching."

A conclusione del tour promozionale negli U.S.A. eccovi il video dell’intervista rilasciata al allo show televisivo Good Morning America Now trasmessa sul canale ABC. L’intervista è del 17 dicembre ma è stata resa reperibile on line solo ieri.
Eccovi l’intervista di Enya al The Today Showtrasmessa sul canale NBC. Verso la fine sentirete nuovamente la voce di Enya intonare per qualche secondo Oiche Chiuin.
Come appena comunicato dal sito ufficiale, Enya sarà a New York questa settimana per il suo tour promozionale. Enya apprarirà al Good Morning America Now (mercoledì 17 dicembre) in onda sul canale ABC, e si esibirà nello show Live with Regis and Kellygiovedì 18 dicembre.
Giovedì 18 Dicembre alle 09:00, Enya sarà ospite dello show televisivo americano Live with Regis and Kelly trasmesso sul canale ABC. Enya si esibirà probabilmente con Trains And Winter Rains (anche se non ci sono conferme in merito).
Il sito della Warner Music Germanyha confermato la presenza di Enya allo show televisivo Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel trasmesso sul canale ZDF. Lo show sarà trasmesso sabato 31 gennaio 2009.
Enya ha confermato la sua presenza allo show televisivo inglese This Morning trasmesso dall'emittente televisiva londinese ITV. L'apparizione televisiva avverràgiovedì 4 dicembre.
